Cambridge IGCSE (or International General Certificate of Secondary Education) is a diploma for students from 14 to 16 years old who may be passed in more than 9000 institutions in approximately 160 countries. Well-recognized around the world and serving as a reference to international universities for their recruitment, the IGCSCE appears quite unavoidable in Vietnam.
Among the many exams (70) that this diploma can have, the French language options are obviously present. Therefore, l’Atelier specifically prepares its student to pass the following tests :
- French : Foreign Language (0520) : This exam is intended for students learning French as a second language.
- French : First Language (0501) : This exam is designed for native students for whom French is the mother tongue or main language.
- French : A Level Only (9716) : Of a more advanced level, it prepares the entrance in university.
- French : Literature (AS Level only) (8670) : Specialized in French literature, this course is meant for future literature students.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the main international institutions that allow their students to pass the Cambridge exams are: The Renaissance International School, the British International School, and the Singapore International School
As for the preparation of all other exams, l’Atelier follows your child throughout the year to build month after month strong skills in French, adapting to the nature of the exam to pass: Written, oral, or both, on MCQ or more demanding writing tests.

There are several levels of DELF :
- DELF ยซ Prim ยป : Aimed at children, it validates the skills acquired in primary school by pupils ranging from 7-8 years to 12 years. The DELF Prim is available in 3 examinations, corresponding to A1.1, A1 and A2 levels.
- DELF ยซ Junior/ Scolaire ยป : Designed for high school students, DELF Junior is similar to the “All Public” version, but with differences in the topics addressed, taking into account the centers of interest of teenagers.
- DELF et le DALF ยซ All Publics ยป : Destined to adults wishing to develop their French skills for personal or professional purposes.
- DELF ยซ Pro ยป : Divided in 4 levels (A1, A2, B1, and B2), DELF PRO focuses on communication in work environments of all sectors.
For each level, 4 skills are evaluated: listening, speaking, writing and written comprehension.
